Proper Pain Solutions

Nerve pain can feel very different from other types of pain. Burning, tingling, electric-like sensations, numbness, or heightened sensitivity may occur when nerves or the nervous system are involved.
Dr. Caldwell takes an individualized approach to evaluating nerve-related pain, with a focus on identifying where symptoms may be coming from and determining which treatment strategies may be appropriate. For certain patients, advanced neuromodulation and targeted nerve therapies can provide options beyond traditional approaches to pain management.

Neuromodulation therapies are designed to influence the way pain signals are transmitted through the nervous system. Depending on the condition and source of pain, treatment may target the spinal cord, specific nerve structures, or peripheral nerves.
Dr. Caldwell offers a range of advanced nerve-focused treatment options, including spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, and iovera°. Treatment is selected based on each patient’s diagnosis, symptoms, pain pattern, and individual needs.
Not every type of nerve pain requires neuromodulation. Other targeted approaches may be considered depending on the source and type of pain.
